This track is actually ill, the lyrics are tight, and that back and forth is outta control. I hope they are recording an album as good as this track.

Inside Jim Phillips Studio!
Jim Phillips is one of the biggest names in skateboard graphic history, his work stands out whenever I think of my days of skateboarding with my friends so many years ago. I also see his work more and more now a days with all the re-prints floating around skateshops and online. Just peep fecalface.com for the full article and photos.
Free Stream of P's Album

Prodigy of Mobb Deep is releasing an album next week with the Alchemist and the beats are all out of control. P may not be able to rhyme that well any more but it's a free stream, and the beats alone make it a worthy buy or steal. It is available through bit torrent somewhere, out there on the big old web... and so is Redman's new joint, Red Gone Wild, happy stealing!

MONEY GRIP™ the new hot vinyl

The party @ plan B has been cancelled due to some problems with the product arriving from China on time. Make sure you visit the Kano Kid Store and pre-order some of these limited edition vinyl toys. The design is dope, and they won't last long! I just pre-ordered a DIY (Do It Yourself) piece and an O.G. Money Grip™

Buff Monster has been Buffed...
Considering dudes name is Buff Monster this post is funny as hell to me. This wall is right down the block from my crib. Now it was commissioned by whoever owns the building so I do feel bad they paid a shit load of money for a huge piece that has been ruined. On the other hand the kids who hit the piece twice before were painted over even thought their pieces were small and hardly noticeable but I guess that pissed the kids off and the end result was this...
Hahahahahaha, I guess there is no painting over that. I love how the Reamer wall next store has never been touched.
NYC - I still call it home
I recently went back to NYC for a mini vacation, I checked out NY Comic Con briefly (the people that run that show are fucking assholes), and fashion, and kicks, and I hit up my favorite bar The Orange Valve. If you are looking for a hip and chic bar in NYC do NOT go to Orange Valve. If you have a good group of friends and would like to go to a place where the staff treats you great then head to the O.V.
Anyway I bought some kicks, sneakers were off the hook in Feb. I easily saw 10 pairs I wanted to cop on the spot, luckily I showed some restraint and bought only two pairs. One being the super fly Court Force Lows I got @ Clientele (Prince & Lafayette, sorry no web site)...

The other I could lie about and say I got them at some out of the way boutique but I got them at Journey's on 34th street from this fly latina chick with a lower lip piercing. Anyway these are tight and for some reason Journey's (and every other chain in the world) is always better in NY...

I also had a chance to head down to the L.E.S. to check out Reed Space THE FLYEST store for designers, fuck streetwear, you can find that anywhere. This store is owned and run by someone who has impeccable taste in all things design, it is a must see when heading to NY. Most of my friends in NY don't even know about it. Anyway I copped an issue of Also Known As (12oz Prophet)which is just a cool slick graf mag with some dope pieces in there...

While I was downtown I got to go to ALIFE they had some dope kicks but I didn't want to spend anymore cash, shit so did Reed Space come to think of it. Fashion for men was terrible everywhere, streetwear is just stagnant right now, maybe it's all the blogs I read but either way it was wack.
Women's fashion was amazing in the L.E.S. every boutique I went to had something new and fresh for the ladies. Lots of Vintage fabrics being used in great ways, plus boots galore, but I will let my other correspondent expand on her shopping experience. She "dreams of boots" all day long and that will be the title of her column/blog. Her blog will be kicking off on scatterbrainmag.com very shortly, be on the look out.

KRS & Marley Marl Record
Apparently KRS-One and Marley Marl are in the studio recording a record right now. You might remember their beef, well MC Shan and KRS but Marley was behind Shan the whole time. They both feel this will be a good move for Hip Hop, more info.info: allhiphop.com
